We, as Michigan residents, must become involved NOW. For far too long, we have allowed our elected officials and law makers to freely make critical decisions for our State and Counties with little or no input from Michigan residents. In several instances, Michigan residents have no knowledge of the changes, additional laws or policies until they, or someone they know, becomes caught up in them in some negative way.

 

There are a vast number of laws, programs and departments that are depending on how well Michigan is managed. If we, as residents, don’t express our concerns, ideas and opinions, showing our government that we want to be helpful and a part of the solution and, at the same time, that we are watching closely, Michigan will continue to generate even more unorganized, uncontrolled and unjust laws, taxes and programs, making it harder and harder for us as its’ citizens to survive.

 

ITS MY MICHIGAN’s mission is to address and help restructure the multitude of compromised and costly programs, systems, laws and policies that are perpetuating the downward spiral of our State, from unjust laws to home foreclosures; from loss of jobs to fleeing residents and businesses; from wasted tax dollars to our ever increasing cost and lack of health care coverage.
